Republican Women Seat Officers At Dinner Meeting Bertha Beres was installed as president of the Fourth Ward Women's Republican Club at a recent dinner meeting at the Centerton Golf Club. Also installed were Lorraine Stratton, vice president; Martha Provenzano, treasurer; Bernice Maser, recording secretary; June McCann, corresponding secretary; Harriet Giacomoni, two year trustee; and Evelyn Ronchetti, one year trustee.

Marie Phillips of Philadelphia, representing American Airlines, presented color slides of "Flowers and Gardens of the United States." Committee members for the event were Mrs. Beres, Betty Solazzo, Mrs. Stratton, Mrs. Giacomoni and Roxann Cronk.

Special prize winners were Helen Favretto, Mabell Estell, Mrs. Beres, Gloria Noto, Mrs. McCann, Tessie DeRito, Phyllis Cravo, Margaret Nese, Irma Martinelli, Dora Smith and Mary Gullo. Special guests were wives of mayor and City Council candidates: Josephine Scarpa, Doris Craft, Norma Lirio, Angie Romano and Betty Solazzo.
